Large open cabinet cubby storage with Tambour embroidered lace,

Handmade cabinet from salvaged French cottage kitchen .28" tall, 18 1/2" wide, 12 1/2" deep Pieces of this were shipped from France, and was probably part of a much larger piece. I painted it and distressed it slightly in a beautiful clean white. The broken door was removed and in place I created a beautiful curtain made from French soft embroidered mesh lace. The tieback is made from laces and handmade roses that I dyed.. I am so inspired by the look of old cottage kitchens that have fabric curtains as doors for the pantries and cabinets. Most rooms would benefit from this lovely piece. Kitchens, the office, bedroom and even your oddities desk. I gave it a more ornate look using salvaged wood spindle pieces that I added to the front. This is nice and deep, and it's very well made.
