This old chalk-ware / plaster statue comes in at 34" by 15" wide and 8" deep.
This was a smooth typical blue and white statue antique piece. The colors were faded, she needed a new look. I gave her a beautiful new coat in a homemade textured white. The color is soft and a bit distressed. It looks amazing.
I made her a white Nordic crown, halo and gave her a beautiful French lace white veil. You can keep them together or change them out, but you do receive all. The halo is in all vintage roses in pink and white, with hints of gold. . On the back there is a train of tattered old laces and fabrics. The crown is a metal, painted in white, rusted and distressed. It is trimmed out in rhinestones. The centerpiece is a vintage rhinestone jewelry piece.
She is draped in antique and vintage pearl necklaces, which were carefully picked out.
Of course she is wearing my signature pieces...a heart with key. The cross is the rosary.
The bottom is embellished in roses that match the colors of her crown and halo. The gold gilded roses and leaves are salvaged. The other metal roses are handmade. I painted them in pink after rusting them.
I don't make these as just a religious piece. These go well in a French Nordic or shabby theme. I've even seen them in an urban loft setting.
This is a one of a kind and is signed.
It has weight to it..but not so heavy that it can not be moved around.
I can not change anything on this piece.
